    Ecotech's board of directors has been renewed

    On April 3rd, Écotech Québec welcomed new representants of the clean technology ecosystem to its board of directors. Therefore, we would like to welcome: Benoît Balmana (IVÉO), Catherine Bérubé (Cycle Capital Management), Jamal Chaouki (Polytechnique University), Benoît Lacroix (Effenco), Mustapha Ouyed (Pyrobiom Énergies), Cédéanne Simard (SAQ) and to welcome back Thierry Pagé (Univalor) and Tom Whitton (E2Métrix).The complete list of the Board members can be found here.

    Good news for the clean technology cluster! Denis Leclerc was re-elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of International Cleantech Network (ICN). This exclusive network brings together the most active clusters of clean technologies in the world and generates new business opportunities for Québec entrepreneurs through, among others, the ICN Passport.

    Call for Proposal: cleantech in the petrochemicals industry

    Until March 1, 2017 cleantech companies can present their projects to SIBUR, The Dow Chemical Company, DuPont, Solvay, 3M, AkzoNobel, BASF, LG Chem, Henkel, Linde, Sinopec, Technip and Honeywell UOP by applying for the IQ-CHem contest.

We have the greatest pleasure to inform you 2 new recruits join our team in order to cope with the growth of both the organization and the clean technology sector. Élise Laferrière will be vice-president, Operations and Partnerships whereas Normand Gadoury will be vice-president, Innovation and Commercialisation.

    A showcase for startups in Montreal

    The first North American boutique Neoshop opens in the Quartier de l'innovation. Inside this store, 25 startups present their products that visitors can see, touch, test or buy before they are even marketed. Geebee, a member of Écotech Québec, is already waiting for your visits to introduce you to his very unique electric vehicle, a mix between the scooter and the bicycle!
