    NYCEDC Smart Building Tech Challenge Seeks Applicantions

    As the Brooklyn Army Terminal (BAT) celebrates its 100th birthday, NYCEDC is turning to the city's ecosystem of smart building innovators to enhance the infrastructure and operations of this New York City landmark. The Smart Buildings Tech Challenge invites applicants with market-ready technologies to submit proposals to address three key smart building areas: metering, maintenance and communications. Selected finalists will be invited to a pitch event this summer, and winning proposals will be contracted by EDC to pilot the project at BAT. 
    Applications are due at 4pm on July 12, and applicants may submit questions and/or request clarification from NYCEDC no later than 5 pm on June 15.

    The Canadian Consulate in Houston is looking for presenters to participate in the Canadian Clean Technologies Showcase during the Rice Alliance Venture Forum, September 13.     Support Canadian innovations for Solar Impulse #1000 Efficient Solutions

    Today, CanadaCleantech Alliance is announcing the signing of a Letter of Agreement (LoA) with the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions to enhance cooperation to identify 1000 cleantech that are profitable to protect the environment. The LoA was signed before Energy Ministers and Senior Executives on a boat between Malmö (Sweden) and Copenhagen (Denmark) during Mission Innovation and Clean Energy Ministerial forum.
