Isabelle Dubé-Côté
President and Chief Executive Officer

Isabelle has 20 years of experience in the business world, with a specialization in defining and building purposeful brands. Her international career combining corporate and agency experience has allowed her to develop a unique perspective that enables her to apply a strategic vision for impactful results.

Before joining Écotech Québec, Isabelle launched her consulting agency, which provides strategic support to executive teams. Prior to this, Isabelle worked in various industries such as corporate finance at Financière Banque Nationale, business development at NYSE (New York) and Euronext (Paris). She also launched the strategic communication and corporate citizenship offer at Publicis by creating the Montreal office of MSLGROUP.

Throughout her various professional experiences, Isabelle has successfully mobilized stakeholders around common goals on diverse and complex projects. She has also built long-term relationships with business leaders, employees, and opinion leaders in North American and European markets.

In addition to her work, Isabelle is very involved in the community. She has served on the boards of organizations focused on healthcare prevention, performing arts and culture, as well as committees focused on climate emergency and empowering women.

Isabelle holds a bachelor’s degree from Concordia University and an MBA degree from NYU Stern (New York University) and ESCP Paris.

Denis Leclerc
Executive Advisor

Since 2009, Denis Leclerc has served as president and CEO of Écotech Québec, which contributes to the development and growth of the province’s clean technology cluster. He also chairs the boards of both the Canada Cleantech Alliance and the International Cleantech Network based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

He has worked for over 20 years in the field of natural resources and held several management positions for international companies, including that of vice president, sustainable development and environment at AbitibiBowater. He has been involved in numerous projects and strategic decisions for companies conducting business in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.

Very active in the community, Mr. Leclerc sits on several boards of directors and committees, including the Council of the Green Municipal Fund of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, the strategic committee of the Solar Impulse Foundation (Switzerland) as well as the Canadian Environment Domestic Advisory Group for the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union.

In addition to certification as an administrateur de sociétés certifié (ASC), Mr. Leclerc’s other academic achievements include an MBA from the Université Sherbrooke.

Amélie Bergeron-Vachon
Senior Director – Partnerships and Networking

Amélie Bergeron-Vachon develops and implements our skills and talent working group, collaborates on research and innovation unit, and is responsible for relations with members. Involved with Écotech Québec since 2011, she heads outreach and internationalization efforts, as well as communications.

Before joining Écotech Québec, she was employed for several years in Europe and Asia before returning to Montreal to work in business development. She graduated from McGill University with a degree in environment and international development.

Audrey Somé
Director – Innovation

Audrey Somé holds dual degrees in chemical engineering from both the Polytechnique Montréal and École Nationale Supérieure des Industries Chimiques (France) with a specialization in environment and life cycle analysis.

She has since held several positions in the areas of responsible sourcing, intellectual property and technology transfer.

At Écotech Québec since 2019, she is the cleantech coordinator of the Écoleader Fund, a major project designed to support Quebec companies in the implementation of eco-responsible business practices and clean technologies.

Gabrielle Leclerc-Vincent
Director – Strategic Initiatives

Since obtaining a degree in International Trade from the Université du Québec à Montréal, Ms. Leclerc-Vincent has held several positions in the marketing and communications sectors.

At Écotech Québec, her skills are put to good use in mobilizing companies within the sector in the course of organizing national and international networking events.

Maissa Bouguerra
Senior Consultant – Research and Innovation

Maissa Bouguerra graduated from the Université Laval with a master’s degree in agribusiness, specializing in water treatment.

She uses her knowledge of environmental themes to ensure the realization of events and networking workshops, such as INNO+ and Connect Challenges.

Stéphanie Dumais
Innovation Advisor

After graduating from bioresource engineering, Stéphanie began her career in a consulting engineering firm specializing in in-situ contaminated land remediation. After returning to school with an MBA from HEC Montreal, she worked in the world of innovation, product development and organizational strategy. Keen to stay in innovation and to get closer to sustainable development, she is currently an innovation consultant at Écotech Québec, where she is in charge of the Innovation Challenge.
